My Girls

Above is one of my absolute favorite photos for “My Girls” together.  They are “all natural” (a.k.a no makeup) which is how I always said they are prettiest, living life to the fullest, and enjoying each other’s company.  This was taken on a trip together, just the three of them, sailing in Mexico.  Shirl was the captain and Judy and Jen the mates.  They all enjoyed cooking in the tiny sailboat kitchen with local ingredients while water views surrounded them and stretched for miles.

I am so proud of my two daughters and my granddaughter for the women they have become.  I am proud of their achievements in life and their never-ending supply of love for their families and one another.  I am also proud of, and will take some measure of credit for, their tenacity and willingness to try new things…like writing a book and this crazy thing they call a blog.

My girls are writing this blog in part to honor me.  I don’t know how I ever did enough to deserve their love, adoration, and desire to keep the memories of me alive…but I will thank God personally when I meet Him.

Best of luck My Girls!
